KauKau 4 Keiki provides nutritious meals to keiki statewide during the summer months through meal kits filled with locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, proteins, starches, and milk.
Each box can provide up to 14 meals per keiki. 18,021 boxes between June 2, 2025 to July 25, 2025. Total of 252,294 meals distributed in the 96792 zip code. 87% of participants identified as Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.
Feed the Hunger Fund partnered with Kahumana Organic Farm to help fill and distribute the meal kits.
