Creme Brulee Farming Company

In 2019, Edgar founded Creme Brulee Farming Company, where he sustainably cultivates approximately 300 acres of almonds and peaches. Building on this work, Edgar later developed Blanco Max, an organic weed-control solution made from almond shells.

Demand for sustainable herbicide alternatives like Blanco Max is driven by several key factors. Weeds are increasingly resistant to conventional synthetic herbicides, forcing growers to apply higher chemical rates while still experiencing significant crop losses. At the same time, the State of California has set ambitious goals to transition conventional agriculture toward organic and more sustainable farming systems.
